Nothing staged.
Everything felt.
We built our name by noticing what happens between the planned moments—the glance before the vows, the quiet in a crowded room, the laughter that arrives without warning.

A ceremony
in chapters.
Portraits, processions and the quieter exchanges around a multi-day rite of passage—photographed as one unfolding human story.

The studio
Made in Mumbai.
Carried forward.
Your Moment, My Reel was founded by photographer and filmmaker Jainam Shah in Mumbai in 2017. The studio created candid photography and cinematic films for weddings, pre-weddings, religious ceremonies and family celebrations.
Today, the archive lives on as a collection of the people, traditions and stories that shaped the work—while the same eye for detail continues in Calgary.
Professional context
Beyond the
studio floor.
Alongside running Your Moment, My Reel, Jainam served as a visiting faculty member at the Indian Institute of Democratic Leadership (IIDL), sharing practical media and production knowledge with students.
The broader practice also included institutional programmes, civic events and public-facing documentary assignments—work reflected across the studio’s contemporaneous Facebook archive.
